Sound familiar?

Five systems, and the shop still runs on memory

Warranty claims live in a spreadsheet.

The truck’s parts live in a tech’s head.

Payroll is a Sunday night.

Dealership systems are built to sell units. Generic shop software thinks an RV is a big car. So service departments stitch together five tools that don’t talk, and pay for all of them.

  • Generic shop software~$475/mo
  • Timeclock app~$60/mo
  • Phone add-on~$50/mo
  • Inspection tool~$40/mo
  • The usual stack$625+/mo
  • Pintle Shop+, all of it in one$549/mo

Before a single hour of payroll prep saved. Unlimited techs.

One repair order, start to finish

Everything that happens to a coach, in one place

The pieces talk to each other, so nothing gets re-typed and nothing falls between two systems.

  1. The phone rings

Answer it and the customer’s record pops up on screen. Every call is logged automatically, missed ones included.

  2. Write the repair order

Jobs, labor, parts and the warranty or insurance claim, all on one RO. Price any combination live.

  3. Inspect the unit

The tech’s inspection lands on the RO with photos, and AI proposes the estimate for the advisor to review.

  4. Dispatch the work

Set priorities on the board. The tech’s queue shows the same order, and the week shows who has capacity.

  5. Get the parts

Requests, POs and receiving with a timestamp at every hand-off. Mobile jobs pull from the truck that did them.

  6. Keep the customer posted

Two-way texts and photos, threaded on the RO. One click builds a Guest Update before you call back.

  7. Cash out cleanly

Prices freeze when the customer approves and tax freezes at checkout. Refunds go to whoever overpaid.

  8. Run payroll

Techs clock in on the kiosk, sign off on their own timecards, and approved hours flow into payroll.

Why shops switch

Software that starts at the service drive

Service is the whole product

Built around how an RV shop really works

Dealership systems are built to sell units, and service is module seven. Generic shop software thinks an RV is a big car. Pintle starts at the service drive.

  • Warranty, insurance and service-contract claims on the repair order
  • VIN-verified approvals, so work is never sold on the wrong unit
  • Inside-bay lanes that show which coach is in which bay, and for how long

One system for the whole shop

Stop stitching five tools together

Shop software, a timeclock app, payroll spreadsheets, a texting tool, a phone system and inspection forms. In Pintle they’re one thing, and they talk.

  • Approved timecards flow straight into payroll
  • An answered call pops the customer’s record
  • A finished inspection proposes the estimate

Your history doesn’t move

Last month’s invoices still match the customer’s copy

Change a tax setting today and nothing you already billed changes with it. Your accountant gets a journal to review, not a surprise.

  • Part prices freeze when the customer approves
  • Sales tax freezes at checkout
  • Overrides need a written reason, and they’re logged

How we compare

Built for RV service, not borrowed from somewhere else

If you sell units, a dealership system is fine for the sales desk. If your money is made in the service bays, here’s the difference.

Built in the bay

We didn’t interview shops to design this. We are one.

We run an RV service business in Alabama. For years we ran it on software built for somebody else: dealership systems that cared about selling units, and shop software that thought an RV was a pickup truck.

So we built what the shop needed, one real problem at a time, in front of real customers. Pintle has run every repair order and every payroll at Alabama RV Service since.

Software companies interview shops. We are one.

Questions

What shops ask us first

What is Pintle?

Pintle is RV service software: an operations platform for RV repair shops, mobile RV technicians and dealership service departments. It runs repair orders, warranty and insurance claims, dispatch, parts and purchasing, service-truck inventory, texting, phone, timeclock and payroll in one system. It was built inside Alabama RV Service, a working RV service business, and runs that shop every day.

Is Pintle a DMS?

No. It is an operations platform for RV service. If you sell units, keep your sales-desk system for now and run the service drive on Pintle.

How much does Pintle cost?

Pricing is flat per location with unlimited users: Core is $349 a month, Shop+ is $549 a month and Fleet starts at $849 a month. Annual billing gets two months free. Texting volume and phone setup are billed at transparent usage rates.

Does it work for mobile RV service?

Yes. Each service truck is its own inventory location, and a mobile repair order pulls parts from the truck that did the job. Load, unload and loadout templates track what is on each truck. It works on shop tablets and phones in the browser.

Can it track RV warranty and insurance claims?

Yes. Warranty, insurance and service-contract claims live on the repair order, with coverage and payments tracked per claim and overpayments attributed to whoever overpaid. It tracks claims; it does not submit them to the manufacturer for you.

Can you bring over my old system’s history?

We’ve imported Lightspeed and Digital Wrench history, and it stays searchable, linked to your customers and units. Other systems are quoted per source.
